Fire Department
The Pleasant View Fire Department was established in 1949 as part of the Metropolitan District. Our district covers central unincorporated Jefferson County as well as a western portion of the City of Lakewood. The district covers roughly 2.5 square miles.
We are a combination Fire Department consisting of five paid staff and 40 volunteers. While our district is local, we have a lot of pride in our organization.
The Pleasant View Fire Department is a single station which houses two Engines (Engine 41, Engine 42), a 75′ Aerial Truck (Truck 41), and a Brush Truck (Brush 41).
Fire Prevention
The Fire Prevention Bureau schedules and performs building Fire Inspections within our response district; provides various fire safety presentations for our citizens, and performs all fire investigations.
